We have tested and can recommend two commercially available dryer solutions for drying your miniRITE T R hearing aids.
The two solutions we have tested are MG PerfectDRY Lux and Flow Med dry-cap. There may be other commercially available solutions that may be used at the discretion of the hearing care professional. However, it is important to consider heat exposure for the lithium-ion battery as well as the time needed to charge the hearing aids. Temperatures while drying must never exceed 40°C (104°F) to prevent damage to the lithium-ion battery.
- MG PerfectDry Lux: This device uses a safe level of heat and the cycle runs quickly, allowing plenty of time for overnight charging. We recommend allowing the instrument cool down for at least 15 minutes before recharging to make sure the battery is cool enough for an efficient recharge cycle.
- Flow Med dry-cap: This device allows for charging while drying.
