Rechargeables for hiking trips?
I am in the process of getting my first pair of hearing aids. Generally I think I would prefer to get rechargeables but I do sometimes go on hiking trips where there for up to three days is no access to power. In know that there is a travel charger and I would definitely get that. But I just wanted to check what experiences you have with this - is it a bad idea to go with rechargeables when I go hiking quite often.

Hi Alex
I have been wearing hearing aids for many years and I also go hiking quite often. And I had the same concerns as you when it became an option to get hearing aids with rechargeable batteries. Last year I took the plunge when I upgrade to the Oticon Real (awesome product btw) and got them as rechargeable with the smart charger. I it really is awesome - the charge easily lasts me a full day and with the charger I can go off grid for several days without any issue.
